George Ciganik’s life story is a thrilling testament to excellence and adaptability. Surviving the rigorous environment of Central Catholic in Steel City, he was forged in the fires of adversity, emerging as a resilient and determined individual. His journey continued with his distinguished service in the Marines, where he was part of the Recon Battalion Special Operations. Serving aboard the USS New Jersey, he saw action in Beirut, Lebanon, in the1980’s, earning admiration for his unwavering dedication.
A master of multitasking, George balanced his time as a cop with attending several colleges, playing college football, and competing in high-level rugby. Despite his numerous achievements, he remained humble, always driven by a desire to be the best and to challenge himself continuously.
George’s quest for knowledge led him to earn multiple degrees, including a Business degree and a Master’s, along with a Master’s certification in Forensic Science from Duquesne School of Law and a Labor Relations certificate from Cornell. His adventures didn’t stop there; he also dived for sea urchins, played roles in movies, and even consuted on a few shows.
When he transitioned from law enforcement, George seamlessly reinvented himself in the sales and marketing sectors of the chemical and power industries.
